Hairy donuts, bouncing eyeballs, a faceless militia in a courtyard, a sad woman in an empty office, a battery-operated wooden plank, an old guy on a rooftop with a gun, vaporising bodies. One unsettling sequence is shortly followed by another, adding up to a nightmarish vision for an aggressive electro track.
‘Collider’ is the first video from Dutch electronic music group Noisia’s second album Outer Edges (2016). It could only have sprung from the deranged mind of director Henk Loorbach, who was able to take the claustrophobia and schizofrenia hidden in the music and dream up all of this wicked imagery. The moment you’re convinced there is a storyline, you wake up sweating.
